OEM-systems - for integration into manufacturing lines or for customized solutions.

For integration into manufacturing lines or customized solutions we offer Nd:YAG basic modules, diode-pumped and lamp-pumped, in a power range from 2 to 100 W, as well as CO2 vector lasers with
30W.

All basic systems feature a new real-time processing laser control, based on modern RISC-Power-PCs, in connection with an integrated, modular-designed cPCI-PC. This yields to shorter marking times and hence higher productivity.

More features are:

  • a graphical system diagnosis (monitoring and failure/status messages or operating values),
  • event and failure logbook,
  • the user configurable I/Os in your marking program.

Our basic modules are supplemented by a wide selection of accessories and options and the laser control software FOBAGRAF. Our laser systems are designed for your requirements.

Laser type: Nd:YVO4

With the innovative diode laser DP2UV FOBA expands its product portfolio into the ultra violet range. The novel resonator design guarantees an efficient laser power in the medium range of 2 W with a wavelength of 355 nm.

The typical pulse duration of 20 ns at a beam diameter of 20 µm now allows „cold marking“ predominantly by photochemical reactions. High quality markings with reduced material damage are the highlights e.g. in marking of flame protected plastics and glass with this UV laser.

With the brand new DP10GS laser system, FOBA completes its series of end-pumped systems at the lower end of the performance range. Alongside the DP20GS and DP30GS high-end systems, the DP10GS is used for applications such as card personalisation, in particular grey scale images on passports and ID cards, and also in the metal engraving sector.

This air-cooled system’s lasering qualities are just as impressive as those of its big brothers in terms of speed and quality. Its compact design means that it can easily be integrated in automation lines or FOBA machines. The long operating life of the diodes, coupled with the air cooling, ensures extremely low operating costs.

The DP20GS and DP30GS end-pumped high-end systems are ideal for use when optimal laser beam quality and performance are required. They are especially suitable in the field of card and passport personalisation, in particular for the marking of ID cards with grey scale images, as well as for lacquer removal to create day and night design.

When used in combination with speed-optimised scan heads in a double-head design, the excellent performance permits the MOTF marking of parts with extreme line speeds.

These new types of pulsed fiber lasers achieve unprecedented efficiency and compactness. The small dimensions of the laser head, deflector unit and supply unit make integration much easier in, for example, small machines. The high level of pulse-to-pulse stability during material processing is an additional advantage.
